Mrs. Sherry Lynn Osborne Rutherford, age 41, of Wilkesboro, formerly of Ashe County, passed away Monday morning, April 4, 2011 at her residence. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 7, 2011 at 2:00pm at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Derek Hodges and Rev. Jimmy Galgano officiating. Burial will follow in the Osborne Cemetery on Three Top Road. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00pm on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at Boone Family Funeral Home. Mrs. Rutherford was born in Ashe County on Thursday, June 5, 1969 to James (Jim) Osborne and the late Joann Johnson Osborne. She worked in the Accounting Department at Lowe's Hardware Corp. office. She was a very caring and giving person. She looked forward to the family annual beach trip. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter and sister. Sherry will be missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Jamie Rutherford, of 19 years of marriage; a daughter, Brooke Rutherford, of the home; her father, Jim Osborne, of Creston; her grandmother, Eula Osborne, of Creston; a brother, Chris Osborne, of Creston; a sister, Jill Caudill and husband, Quentin, of Creston; several nieces & nephews also survive.
