Each time you walked in a room, you filled it with your smile and laughter. Even in your darkest, lowest times you found something to smile about. You told me that you had to keep going because that was what you knew God wanted you to do. You told me to always believe in yourself and keep going forward even when I felt like giving up. I will not give up on my dream we talked about and I will keep going now even more. You are my inspiration. I know you loved music and you loved to dance so please dance for me with Jerry in Heaven and save a dance for me. I will miss Jean & Paul

When I was 4yrs old, Aunt Madeline gave me my first talking doll, Chatty Kathy for Christmas. And she is the one who called me "Katie" all of my childhood and even as an adult. Although I didn't see her much in the past 20 years, my memories of her are happy and warm.
Blessings to you Tonya, Doug and Corey,

Linda Gipson Foudray posted a condolence
One of the hardest things I ever had to do was miss Madeline's funeral and not be able to pay my respects to her family and Jerry. If I stayed home Gilbert could attend and so it was the right thing to do. We had animals in our boarding kennel and I needed to babysit our sweet Grayson. I had a really long conversation with Madeline after she got sick, we laughed and carried on like we were in the same room. Madeline had the gift of making you feel at ease and was so down to earth, and had the best sense of humor of anyone I ever met.
This month I will have been a "Foudray" for 25 years and going to visit Madeline and her family in North Carolina was our favorite thing to do. We always went to "Christmas in July" and in November we went to bring back Christmas Trees to sell. We made a lot of wonderful memories. Gilbert is so very devastated at the loss of his beloved sister. Much love and sympathy to Tonya, Doug, Cory and Jerry.

Tonya, Doug and Cory, so sorry to hear of Madeline's passing! She was such a special lady to me and my family. I'll always remember how she took care of me at Jon-Marc - she was like a second mom to me in my teenage years. Then when my sons were born, she treated them like her grandsons! We loved her very much and memories of her will hold a special place in our hearts! Our prayers are with you!

I was so saddened when I heard of Madeline's passing. I have so, so many good memories of Madeline beginning at Jon-Marc and continuing through the many years since the Jon-Marc days. Madeline had a unique quality that enabled everyone to feel the love she felt for those of us lucky enough to count her as a dear, dear friend. I will miss her dearly and will always treasure the friendship we shared. Please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers.
