Dear Lemly family,
I was blessed to be welcomed into Mr. and Mrs. Lemly's home
and spend a few days with their family. What a truly remarkable example of love they set for their children. I know my life has been enriched from that short visit and I am fortunate to have Evelyn as my friend. She is a shining example of that love. May God bless you Mr. Lemly and watch over Mrs. Lemly.

I've never met a more humble person than Richard Lemly. He was also proud of his family, friends, country and community.
He served them all very proudly and honestly. He and his five brothers all served their country in the military, all the way from WWII to Desert Storm. In fact Richard and three of his brothers were all overseas at the same time during WWII!!!
Richard's legacy will live on through his children, grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, etc. because he instilled in them integrity, hard work and a sense of value. But let's not overlook the value of his life mate, Minnie. If Richard had faults, then Minnie's strengths overcame them. She especially showed her strength and love during Richards long period of declining health. God bless you Minnie and your whole family.

Dear Lemly Family, I was so sorry to hear of Richard passing. He was one of the kindess man I ever knew he was always very good to me and very helpful to me also. I always thought if I got elected to public office I wanted to try and be as humble and caring as he was. He was a very fine example for us to follow, I always wanted to serve with him but unfortunately I did'nt get that opportunity. He probably did more for the community than anybody, he did'nt do them for recognition but because it was the right thing to do, he will be truly missed by all who had the honor and privelege of knowing him. He was a great man. May God Bless You all and your family.
