I just got the news that Uncle Vance passed away. My prayers are with you Ted and your family. We always visited your dad when we came to visit our brother Jim in Jefferson. I will miss him very much, he looked so much like my dad Don. I know he's with Aunt Beryl in heaven. Love you Uncle Vance! Your niece, Carol

Vance was TRULY a SWEETHEART. I will miss him so much. He always went out on the patio with me at SCC when it was nice and gardening time. He was my buddy and sat right beside me at Bingo. I do a different scene at the window at work for each holiday and so forth and he never failed to mention how nice that it looked. I am lucky to have met him and was a part of my life. I loved him very much and will miss him greatly.. To the family you are in my prayers. With love Angie ,Activity Director SCC

To the Family,I got to know Vance at Segraves Nursing Home and it was a pleasure to see him every day as I visited my Mother, who was there also. My husband worked many years with him at Sprague Electric and he was always a fine gentlemen, a hard worker, and a plesure to be around. We have many good memories of him. Would have come to his service but my Mother was very sick and passed away 5 days later. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. Bob and Sheila Reedy
