I did not really know Stephanie until 7 years ago when I started working at Family Central. I knew Michelle and always knew she was a wonderful person. Then I found out both sisters were wonderful. Stephanie could always make me laugh on a bad day. I grew up in the Episcopal Church and Father Hodge always had us praying for Stephanie Francis. I never said anything to her about this because I did not know how she woudl feel about it. One day I said to her, that I sent my childhood praying for little Stephanie Francis. We laughed and after that I would tell her I was praying for little Stephanie Francis. So Stephanie, I know now why praying for little Stephanie Francis stayed with me because it gave me an opportunity to know you and love you. I will miss you. Michelle, I am remembering you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. As well as I will always say a prayer for all the little Stephanie Francis' of the world who are fighting battles of one kind or another.

Michelle and family, I am heartbroken for the loss of an angel on earth like Stephanie. She truly loved all of her family with such depth and sincerity and she spread that love to the families of ashe in her work. She took each family to a personal level, finding ways to help them and their children. She is going to be missed by a whole community that she was dedicated to serving and I pray for you as a family to find comfort knowing she is wearing a crown in heaven for her life here on earth. Steve, Michele, Keith, Jerrie and all the rest of the family I can't tell you how sad I am for all of you as well as so many people who called Steph their friend. From the time Steph was a little girl she was always so brave with every obstacle she had to face and was an example for all of us younger and older of how we should face and live every day. She would want us all to face this most difficult time with the same courage she exemplified in her everyday life and remember the great memories she helped create with so many people. The last time I saw her she was working to create another moment of joy in someone's life and this is what we should remember about her and the way we should aspire to live our own lives. Thanks Steph for the lessons and the memories. We love all of you and our prayers are with you! Darell, Mary, Ory and Evan

Dear Family,
I am so very sorry for your great loss. I met Steph about eight years ago when I began my work in the child care community. Her warm smile and caring heart were always a warm welcome to any event. Her life gave light to so many children, families, child care providers and others with whom her path crossed. She will be truly missed by many and I, personally, will never forget her and am forever greatful for all that she did over the years for me and the child care community. We are so sorry to hear about your loss today. There are no words that we can give you that will take the pain away. We wish we could say something to fill the void. There is only one person who can do this and that is GOD!! He loves you and he loves Stephanie. He had a perfect plan for her and from the candles that have already been lit, we see that she touched many hearts and helped a lot of children. The young as well as the old have been blessed because of her and her loving spirit. She did not die in vain and she will ALWAYS live in your hearts. She is no longer sick and she loves sitting with Jesus and talking to him about how beautiful Heaven is. She completely understands now why she had to be sick and why she had to leave everyone she loves. We will understand one day as well but until then, we must put our trust in God and lean on him through this tough time. God will give you the peace that passes all understanding. He is the ONLY ONE who can take your pain away . Our Prayers and thoughts are with you. If there is anything we can do for you please let us know.

Dear Steve and Family,
It's hard to tell you how saddened I was to hear that Stephanie has passed. It is so hard to hear of someone that is so young being gone. She made such an impact on so many lives in Ashe County. Everyone should strive to make the kind of impression she made in just 44 years. It would be tough to follow. I admire her so much for her courage and will to live. If people knew what she had to endure in her short life time. They should be on their knees every night thanking God for their good health and their childrens. We have all been truly blessed being able to know Stephanie. She brought a lot of love and joy to many people's lives especially to her family. Even thoough I did'nt get to know her that well I kept up with her through Steve as he came by the store. May God give you all peace and comfort during this difficult time. And if God gives out crowns in heaven which I believe He does. I would guarantee that Stephanie is wearing one made of solid gold. May God Bless You All. I feel like I lost a part of my family, because you all have been so good to me and my family over the years. Love, Johnny Noblett and Family.

Stephanie was such a dear person in my life. I shall always remember her eyes. They were eyes of kindness and love. She could look at you and you knew she was your friend. I know we well all miss her so much. I also know that God has his timing and we aren't priviledged to know this. There is so much love toward this person and she added so much to all our lives.
In Loving Memory of a great Friend.

Although Tim and I had only known Stephanie a few years, we had grown to love her and her vibrant personality, her beautiful soul and knowing that she was genuine. We will miss her but we will never forget her and we will rejoice in knowing she is home with our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ! Prayers for comfort and peace in this knowledge are sent to Steve and the rest of the family from us. We love you Steve.

Stephanie Hart had a beautiful spirit and was very instrumental in making sure that our 2 year old was able to get the care he needed with the developmental disabilities that he has. Having personally developed a fondness for Stephanie, as she was always interested in the endeavors that my wife and I were involved in and likewise always had an ear and an open heart, her kind soul will be truly missed.
