Grandma, you will be greatly missed. I'll never forget the adventures I had at your home in Little Horse Creek. Like the time I was playing with Nanya in the backyard and we got into a yellow jackets' nest. You threw both of us into the bathtub and covered all the stings with snuff from your spit-cup. We were so disgusted, but it sure did help! I am so grateful that I have so many memories of you to pass on to your great-granddaughter Kiley, and I'm so thankful that she got to know her.

We are so sorry to hear about Ms. Eva. I know your hearts are broken right now. I wish I had words of comfort to make your pain go away. God will ease the pain in time. The bible says that there is a time to mourn, so I believe we are suppose to cry and be sad. I also know that there is a time to rejoice. I believe your mother/grandmother is rejoicing right now. She is in Heaven where we all long to be one day. She is sitting with Jesus and talking to all her family and friends that made it there before her. She is the happiest she has ever been. There has to be comfort in knowing that she isn't gone she is just away for a little while. You WILL be with her again and it will be like no time ever lapsed. I am truly sorry you have to go through this sorrow but I know that you all have lots of happy memories to cherish and pass down from generation to generation. She loves you all very much and was so proud of each and everyone of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was a fine lady and a good momma to her children who grew up to be good parents to their children and so on. This is something to be proud of and to cherish.

Granny Eve, you brought unconditional love to our family like no other. The most memorable times with you were the holidays when all of us could barely fit in the house at one time...you always made sure everyone had a present...we didn't have enough room but we had more than enough love. Who could forget all those creek parties, building rock dams and getting chased by water snakes, fireworks on the 4th of July, or just sitting at your kitchen table eating Little Debbie cakes and drinking milk.
