Obituary of Eva Ham Stamper
Mrs. Eva Ham Stamper, age 78, of Lansing, died Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at Westwoods Hills Nursing & Rehab Center.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Friday at Boone Family Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Shepherd and Rev. Dan Hess officiating. Burial will follow in the Perry Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Thursday at 6:00-8:00pm at Boone Family Funeral Home.
She was born in Ashe County, on Friday, May 12, 1933 to the late Lillard and Rettie Calhoun Ham.
Mrs. Stamper is survived by two sons; Greg Stamper of Lansing, Glen Shepherd of Jefferson; four daughters; Debbie Hoosier of Lansing, Thelma Pennington and husband Dwayne of Creston, Gail Lewis and husband Larry of Glendale Springs, Geneva Greer and husband Michael of West Jefferson, and Mary Jones and husband David of Piney Creek; two sisters; Edie Gilley of Bel Aire, Maryland; and Dot Perry of Aberdeen Maryland; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
The family will be meeting at the home of Debbie Hoosier at 12840 NC Highway 194 North, Lansing, NC 28643
