The most kind and gentle spirit. Always welcoming with open arms, and chocolate pies. The plants she demanded we dig up from her yard still thrive in the heat where the "flatlanders" live, only because the Lord knows where they came from. We never saw precious Allean without her grin, even when we knew she was in pain. One more kiss on the forehead, Love you Aunt Illean! At peace and resting with the Lord until we see her again.

I have known Ilean since I was just a little girl and everytime I recall seeing her in thought or in person I can ONLY imagine her with that sweet smile and little soft voice...her fight is over, she is rejoycing in her new body in Heaven! Aunt Ilean was a kind and loving soul. Through our lifetime of visits whether in North Carolina or South Dakota she always made us feel special and loved! We will always remember the cookouts at her home where of course the chocolate pies were a favorite! We will always cherish our memories and her strong sense of family. She was a wonderful person and a fantastic Aunt. Ileans passing is a great loss to our family and she will be sorely missed! Although she is gone she will always live on in our memories and thoughts!
