Steve, Pat, and family, we were so sad to learn of Ernie's passing. We have many good memories of times spent with Ernie and Myrtle Jean while we were neighbors in West Jefferson and visiting Ernie at Beaver Creek. Lean on the arms of JESUS to carry you through this time of sadness, and trust in HIM to provide a way for you to cope with your loss. We love you all.

There are no words to describe how much Ernie meant to us as a friend and neighbor. We are so thankful he did not have to go to a nursing home. Thankful his last year he could have his garden and Buddy. He loved Buddy, and Max(our dog) visited them about every day.
We know he was well cared for and loved. Jesus will comfort and bless you.

Ernie was a wonderful person and I am sorry that I did not make it to his service, but I will always have wonderful memories of him. He was so proud of his garden and would show it to us every time we visited. We loved sharing KFC, pinto beans and cornbread. I know his dog brought great comfort to him these past few years. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Steve, Pat, and families today as you lay your Dad to rest. Love, Jeannie and Jack Floyd (Alta's daughter).

Dear Steve and Family, I was so sorry to hear about your father passing, eventhough I did'nt know him that well, I know that if he was a kind of man that you are that he was one fine person. I always loved and respected the type of person that you are, we have shared many good times and memories here at the store. I can understand how he felt about his dog because I miss my dog Blackie even through this day. An animal can bring you much peace and joy especially when you are alone. I pray that God will give you peace and comfort during this difficult time. You know that I am always here for you if you need me or if there is anything I can do. Take care, I love you and will be thinking of you.Johnny Noblett
