Mr. John Ernest Eller, better known as "Ernie" age 86, of West Jefferson passed away Friday afternoon, December 9, 2011 at his home. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday at the Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Joe Blevins and Rev. Todd Brewer. The family will receive friends on Monday at 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM prior to the Memorial Service at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Eller was born in Gary, West Virginia on Sunday, May 3, 1925. Mr. Eller is survived by a son, Steve Eller and wife, Kay, of West Jefferson; a daughter, Patsy Taylor and fiance, Carson Parsons, of West Jefferson; four grandchildren, Amy Eller, of Durham, Jamie Taylor and fiance, Chad Holman of Laurel Springs, Tina Clark and husband, Richard, of West Jefferson and Scott Roten and wife, Amanda, of Laurel Springs; three great-grandchildren, Kaylyn Holman, Gracie Roten and Levi Roten; his faithful dog, Buddy; several nieces and nephews also survive.
