CHRIS AND FAMILY IT WAS ALWAYS A PLEASURE TO SEE ALICE AT VOA WHEN I WORKED THERE SHE WAS ALWAYS VERY HELPFUL TO HER NEIGHBORS AND WHEN I FILLED IN AS ACTIVITIES DIRECTOR, ALICE WAS A WOUNDERFUL HELP AND SHE NEVER HAD AN UNKIND WORD TO SAY. I KNOW THAT SHE IS IN A MUCH BETTER PLACE NOW. IF YOU NEED ANYTHING, DO NOT HESITATE TO CALL. ROBERT C. MAHALA (MEDICINE MAN)

Dear Family, I first knew Alice at Villages of Ashe and later at Ashe Assisted Living. I especially remember the wonderful friendship she had with Martha Schneider at VOA. I'll always treasure a necklace, earring and bracelet set she gave to me. My deepest condolences in the loss of your grandmother.
