Mrs. Spencer was a wonderful lady. However, over the past few years her mind did not allow her to remember me, but I will always remember her. Twenty some years ago when she was in full health she would pick me up and take me to VBS. She gave me my first Bible with my name on it and told me how much Jesus loves me. He sure does love us all. I rejoice in the fact that Mrs. Spencer can now truly enjoy living. Her health and mind are made new and I know she has never been so happy. My prayers for the family and I pray we all will rejoice in her eternal life.
I work at Forest Ridge Assisted Living, formerly The Villages of Ashe. I was lucky enough to get to know Jean before her move to Glenbridge, and I will always remember her. She had a sweet smile and such a delicate nature. I would visit her anytime I was in Boone, and it was always good to see her even if she didn't remember me. She will certainly be missed.
I'm very sorry to learn of Jean's passing. Both she and Bill were very special to me, and I will never forget them. I regret that my job will not allow me to attend Jean's services on Thursday.
Dear family, so sorry to hear of Jean's passing.I worked with her years ago, she was always such a sweet kind lady and so nice to everyone. May God comfort you during this difficult time. With deepest sympathy, Carolyn
