I will never forget when my Aunt Mary Nell gave me a suit she had made. It was in the early Eighties and I had just begun my teaching career and couldn’t afford to buy a lot of clothes for work. I felt so professional wearing that very tailored suit and received so many compliments when I wore it. Mary Nell was an exquisite seamstress with precision handwork. It’s a very special memory that I have of her kindness and generosity. I will miss her too.
Mary Nell was always there for you. She was a very dear and kind sister. The most caring thing she did for me was when I got a job offer at the hospital I had trained while I was caring for our mother after a stroke. She came home with her two little boys to stay with Mama so I could start my career. I will miss her terribly but know she is at peace.
Joel, June and Family,
We were so sorry to hear about Mary Nell. She was a great lady. We're sorry we could not be at the service, but wanted to let you know you are in our thoughts and prayers.
