I am so thankful that I had the privilege of living next door to Aunt Rae, Uncle Harold and Jewel. My memories of them is that I always felt at home. I loved her stoic manner, her gracefulness and her love for unusual things. I loved to see her art work and wished I had been as artistic as she. I especially enjoyed the story of my mother, Bessie Mae, taking her to their grandmother's. Mom was so little that she dropped Aunt Rae over the fence. I'm sure there is a great reunion of the sisters, Bessie, Thelma, Rae and their brother A. J. and other family members, all of whom I miss. May the Lord encircle you, Aunt Rae, forever in the arms of his love. Love forever, Carolyn.
