Carol and family, Words cannot express the sorrow I feel at hearing of your loss. My prayers are with all of you in the coming days. I am so blessed to have known Don, and been friends with him and your family for as far back as I can remember. He was such a loving person and bigger than life at times..he will be missed by all who knew him. Take comfort in the fact that he is no longer in pain, and is walking hand and hand with Jesus now...Much love to you all.

Sweet Carol, I was so saddened when Papaw called me with the news that my dear Don had passed away. But the very next thought that came to my mind is how big a smile he and Mamaw both had on their sweet faces when they saw each other in Heaven! Don was such a wonderful person, always had a hug and a smile for me, wherever I seen him! I hate I haven't seen you guys in a while, I blow the horn sometimes as I pass your house on my way to visit Papaw. Don always threw up his hand as I passed. I remember when Nolan died Don was in the hospital and my friend Sara was his nurse. She came to visit me in the hospital in Winston and told me Don cried when he heard of the news because he was in the hospital and he couldn't be there to dig his grave for me. You don't know how much those tears meant to me Carol. He was genuine, he was good, and I loved him more than he probably ever knew! You hang in there Carol. It will not be easy, but be would not want us to cry. He is free of pain and worry and much better off than us today. Please do not hesitate to call me for anything at all, even if you just need a shoulder to cry on. I'm gonna try real hard to get by to see you and bring the kids soon. Riley Sue still talks about the kitties and Mrs. Carol and Mr. Don's house! Hard to believe she remembers that, but those were special memories to her with her Mamaw :)I I love you so much Carol, and I will be praying for you and that God will ease your pain. Rest in peace Don Turner, and please give my Nolan and my Mamaw a big hug from me!! You were so loved sweet man!!

I am so sorry for your loss. The Bible provides comfort during these difficult times. Revelation 21:3,4... states: "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away". Very soon, we will never experience losing our loved ones in death.
