Donald Lee Turner, age 80, of Lansing died Saturday, February 16, 2013 at his home. A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 2:00pm at Liberty Baptist Church in Silas Creek with Rev. Russell Sheets officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00pm on Saturday, one hour prior to the memorial service at the church. Mr. Turner is survived by: His Wife - Carol Jarrett Turner of Lansing 3 - Sons - Steven Eugene Turner of Huntland Tennessee Kenneth Ferrell Turner of Randleman, NC Donald Wayne Turner of Franklinville, NC 2 - Brothers - Joe Ray Turner of West Jefferson R.G. Turner of Morganton 1 - Sister - Lessie Elliott of West Jefferson Also surviving are 5 grandsons, 6 great-grandsons, 1 great-great-granddaughter, several nieces and nephews.
