Ill never forget me, missy bare and a couple of our friends going fishing over and Marla and Billy's house. One of my friends got a fish hook caught in his thumb. I'm turning green and getting sick so Marla took me in and laid me on a bed putting cold wash rags on my head. She was such a loving person and had such a beautiful smile and soul. To the family you have always had a special place in my heart and I love you all. You will comtinue to be in my thoughs and prayers..;) GOD BLESS YOU!!

I am so sorry for your loss. The Bible provides comfort during these difficult times. Revelation 21:3,4…states “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. Very soon now, we will never experience losing our loved ones in death. Hope these words give you a new hope.

What a great person Marla was. She was a very special classmate and friend. I have a lot of wonderful memories of spending time with and around Marla. She came by my work and visited around Christmas. I felt that she may have known it would be the last time we would see each other. That woman could uplift anyone with that smile and laughter. It really did make my day! God said he would not put more on one than they could handle and she handled a lot for many years. He saw an angel ready to fly home where there is no more sorrow and no more pain. The band of angels came and lead her home. To all her family and friends, what a comfort knowing we will see her again one day and smile at the sound of her laughter. Love those memories I plan on holding onto them forever. May God watch over each family member during the loss of their dear loved one.

So sorry to hear about your great loss. 20 years is a long time to be with the one you love, it is like losing half of you, and God knows this and he love you and your loved one, so because of his love, he will strengthen you and help you during your time of need as Psalms 46:1 shows. I hope this bring some comfort to you.

I have known Marla our whole lives, we remained friends no matter how far apart we were. We had so much fun growing up and all the crazy things we got involved in. She had the most beautiful voice and one of my favorite songs she ever sang was Heaven's just a Sin away. God has a beautiful new angel who suffers no more. Thanks for the memories, may God be with the families and give you peace through this sad time.

Dear Miller and Bare families,
The day before Marla's birthday Tina, Shauna and I were so fortunate to spend the afternoon laughing with Marla. Although she was weak her spirit was not. We showed her a picture of all us girls in high school and we giggled at how much different we look now but how our love for her has never changed. She had received numerous birthday cards that day which is a true testament of how loved she was. I have such fond childhood memories of Marla. Her love for life and loyalty to her family and friends was evident in everything she did. She fought a hard battle with grace and dignity and is a true inspiration to all those who knew her. I know she will be truly missed but now she is an angel in Heaven and will no longer have to suffer. Her beautiful spirit will live on forever. And every time us high school girls get together we will remember our dear girlfriend fondly and will laugh and giggle like we did that day in March celebrating a life that did not last long enough. May your days ahead be filled will fond memories of this beautiful lady.

When I think about Marla, the scripture from 2 Timothy 4:7 keeps coming to my mind."I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith." Marla was such as inspiration throughout her illness. Cancer may have robbed her of some things, but it did not take away her joy. I am so thankful for all the memories I have of her. She was always so fun to be around. Rest in peace my precious friend. I love you! My sympathy and prayers to her family.
