Dear Lawrence, Kim, and Richard,
We were so very saddened to hear of Vivian's passing... May you find comfort in the knowledge that she is no longer suffering, and has taken her rightful place in The Kingdom of Heaven.
Our family has many fond memories of her, as well as each of you during your time at Oakwoods Baptist Church... "The Goodman's" were there through many joyful, happy occasions, as well as during the difficult and trying times that we faced. Regardless of which, Vivian was ever present by your side, and with the warm smile, kindess and compassion she was well-known for, would offer words of strength and encoragement. She will indeed be deeply missed by anyone who ever had the true blessing of knowing her-
Our thoughts are with you, and your extended family during this time. Much love and many prayers.

My best memories of Aunt Vivian are taking walks together this winter with her and my grandmother. She was always so energetic, talkative and loving; she always spoke of her love and trust in God. She was a true, Christian example and today I REJOICE and praise God for His work through her, and for the rest that she is now experiencing in Heaven.
To the Family: I am sorry that I was unable to be there with you today, but all of you were in my thoughts and prayers. I love you all so much.

I vividly remember the Sunday morning 32 years ago that I walked the isle at Pleasant View Baptist Church to return to The LORD. I carried in my arms my six week old daughter, Jessica. Sweet Vivian came up to me and gently took Jessica from my arms and cradled her in her own. She gave me the gift of time to reconcile my life with The LORD's plans. The Bible says not to be a despiser of small things. Her seemingly "small" act of kindness and grace spoke volumes to me.

Lawrence you will never know how much your belief in me launched me into a beautiful spiritual walk with Our Father. I am so saddened that I didn't get back up there to see her but we will meet again in all God's glory. We love you guys and will be lifting you up in our prayers. Thank you for the influence you and Vivian made in our life. May God bless you and give you peace. Sending our love and heartfelt sympathy to you all. The Kurfees Family
