Vivian Parlier Goodman, age 69 , of Fleetwood died Saturday, April 13, 2013 at her home in Fleetwood. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00P.M. on Monday, April 15, 2013 at Bald Mountain Baptist Church with Rev. Jack Miller and Rev. John Elledge officiating. Burial will follow in the Bald Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 12:00 P.M. until 3:00P.M. on Monday, April 15, 2013 prior to the funeral at Bald Mountain Baptist Church. Mrs. Goodman was born in Watauga County on Saturday, June 5, 1943 to the late Noah James and Hazel Pearl Cook Parlier. Mrs. Goodman is survived by her husband, Rev. Lawrence Goodman of Fleetwood; a son, Richard Goodman and wife Charlene of Fleetwood; a Daughter, Kim Poe and husband Mitchell of West Jefferson; a brother, Eugene Parlier of Fleetwood; a sister, Barbara Gentry and husband Bobby of Abingdon, Virginia; six grandchildren, Hannah Goodman of Fleetwood, Caleb Goodman of Fleetwood, Savannah Poe of West Jefferson, Madi Goodman of Fleetwood, Malachi Poe of West Jefferson, Titus Poe of West Jefferson; fourteen nieces; three nephews.
