Boyd was a sweet sweet lady. I remember when I was a young girl how proud she was of all her nieces and nephews. She was so good to all of us!!! She was so much fun to spend time with. Heaven is sweeter today with her there.

My prayers go out to the family in your loss, but knowing she is now in her Heavenly home is such a precious thought. Boyd was such a pretty lady with big brown eyes if I remember correctly. She will be missed.

Boyd was always a sweet lady, as I was growing up, My mother & Boyd were also very close growing up being cousins. I have fond memories of when she worked at Glens Taste Freeze, when she cleaned the soft ice cream machines, she always brought us a tub of ice cream, we always got to sit up late waiting on our ice cream. Our thoughts & Prayers go out to the family.Heaven has truly gained a very sweet angle. She will be greatly, missed.

Aunt Boyd was a beautiful lady. She was a great daughter, sister, mother, and aunt. She loved her family very much and was loved by all who knew her. I know she's rejoicing now, being reunited with loved ones in Heaven.

Fondest memories: hide-in-seek, croquet, freeze tag, softball, fishing…Aunt Boyd did it all with her nieces & nephews back in the day down on the river @ Grandma South’s. Very athletic, showing us youngsters how it was suppose to be done! She treated us all like one of her own, & that is the memory we will most cherish. Like her mother, as sweet & as soft-spoken of a person you would ever meet. Feel extremely blessed for our time with her. As we may never truly know the extent of ‘situations’ she endured while on this earth, she survived, & is in a better place now.
Rest in peace Aunt Boyd – you deserve it.

I'll always have precious memories of stopping by to see my Aunt Boyd at Glenn's Tastee Freeze on the way to the mountains. She would always come out and fix me and Lisa something to eat and hug us & chat with us. Always so glad to see us with a big smile on her face. I won't ever forget lunch after church on Sundays with Aunt Boyd's wonderful pies. Whether I was playing with Scott around the house, going on walks down by the river, or fishing and shooting rifles with Daddy, Aunt Boyd was always there. Full of energy and love. She was the best Aunt anyone could ever ask for. A true lady of God. She will be truly missed.

Aunt Boyd was such a special lady. I will always remember how much she loved each and everyone of her nieces and nephews. Family meant everything to her. One fond memory I have of her was when she lived at Ashe Services for Aging and I would take Quinn and Leah over to the walking track and she would come over and walk with us. Sometimes we would sit in the gazebo and just talk. Great memeories that I will always cherish. I know she's in Heaven now rejoicing, and reunited with those who went before her. I love you Aunt Boyd.

I will remember Aunt Boyd's smile! Growing up she was always there, going to the beach, seeing her at mamaw's house, stopping by her house or the Tastee Freeze on the way back down the mountain, weddings, birth of my babies, etc. She loved her family. We will miss her, but know she is at peace!

I am so sorry for your loss. The Bible provides comfort during these difficult times. Revelation 21:3,4 states “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. Very soon now, we will never experience losing our loved ones in death. Hope these words give you a new hope.
