Sorry to hear of Okeys passing. I know these last few years have been hard ones as we watch our loved ones slip away. Okey was a good man and is now in a better place with Maxine.
Okey was one of my favorite residents at Ashe Assisted. He always smiled when I came by to see him. He also made me smile. I loved Okey very much and will miss him. But I know he is in a better place reunited with his Maxine.
I am so sorry for your loss. The Bible provides comfort during these difficult times. Revelation 21:3-4 states, And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. Very soon now, we will never experience losing our loved ones in death. Hope these words give you a new hope.
Dear Family, I am deeply saddened to learn of Okey's passing. He and Dad were roommates at AAL&MC before Dad went to Westwood. I loved hearing about his basket
weaving and he took such pride in showing the ones he had with him. He was a good man and will be missed by many. Knowing that he "found" Maxine is such a comfort.
