My beautiful Aunt Mossie , I remember your beautiful smile and great sense of humor. You were there for me many times during my growing up years and I cherished the close relationship you had with my sweet Mom. The sun came out today and I know it was you smiling down from Heaven to let us know you are in a better place.

I am so sorry for your loss. Although, I do not know your family personally, I would like to share some encouraging thoughts from the Bible. The Bible provides comfort during these difficult times. Revelation 21:3-4 states, And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. Very soon now, we will never experience losing our loved ones in death. May these words give you a new hope.

My thoughts and prayers are with Aunt Mossie's family as they go through this difficult time. I am one of Brenda's daughters, and Aunt Mossie was her Aunt. I loved visiting her and she was always so sweet, cheerful, kind, and always happy when we visited. She had so many great stories to tell and told them with such enthusiasm. I thank everyone in the Holman family, my heart is forever in West Jefferson, NC.

My precious Aunt Mossie, how I will miss your sweet smile and warm hugs, not to mention the giggles we always shared. Every time I see blooming flowers, bird feeders, hot coffee and tea pots I will remember you with so much love. I know Momma is so glad to see you, now "the sisters" are all together... til we meet again.

Dear Kyle, Gail, Carol, Susan and Robin,
I know my grief is shared by so many who knew and loved Aunt Mossie - she was such a special person and meant so much to me. Now the famiy circle is almost complete and I know there is joy in heaven - no more pain or sorrow. No one will ever replace the special place she holds in my heart and I will always cherish memories of her; such a sweet and caring lady with such grace and an impish gleam in her eye! We all so lucky to have been a part of her life. Remember the good times in the days ahead and let God be your comfort.

Having visited with Mrs. Davis with her daughter Gail it was quickly apparent what a love of life Mrs. Davis had and how much she loved her family and her home. She will be missed by many.

When I think of Aunt Mossie I think the holidays each year when we'd get together with her and Mom and our families. The food was great and her house was crowded from wall to wall. We'd have the best time. I also remember the personal blessing she was to me. She would come to hear me preach about Jesus, and she always had that sweet smile. May God bless you, family members, with His comforting presence!...Randy & Kay Barr

Our thoughts and prayers are with each one of you. Heaven gained a very special angel in Mossie.Mossie, you were like a second mother to me when I was a child and I will always remember your fun and loving personality. Though sometimes stern, I know it was out of love and I hope you know how much I loved you and how gateful I will always be for having you in my life.

I have many fond memories of Mossie when we worked together at the BR Variety Store. And though I haven't seen her in years, her picture makes me smile.
Prayers to all the family.
