I am so sorry for your loss. Although, I do not know your family personally, I would like to share some encouraging thoughts from the Bible. The Bible provides comfort during these difficult times. Revelation 21:3-4 states, And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. Very soon now, we will never experience losing our loved ones in death. May these words give you a new hope.

So sorry to learn of George's passing. I was a classmate and friend at Central High School. I never saw him again after graduation, but I have fond memories of him being one of the nicest people I've known.

George was truly a remarkable man who possessed genuine wisdom. He was multi-talented and whatever he tackled he did it well. He never settled for "good" he went for "excellent". I am most fortunate for having had the opportunity to work with George and benefit from his perspective. May God comfort you, Betty, and the rest of the family.

Our condolences go out to Betty and all of the Rembert family in this time of loss. I am sorry we cannot be there for the Memorial.
Many years ago George kindly helped my father find a place in the mountains to help heal and renew him, and give his four sons a sense of adventure and hard work. After my father passed away, George continued to lend support and advice. I’m sure there were many times when we were so foolish about what we did not know, that he could have said “idiots, but he would wait for the questions and patiently offer his perspective. Thank you sir, from our George, Elise, and all the Schornak boys.
Our visits were always shorter than I would have liked. I envy those of you who got to spend more time with George and Betty. George would turn a comment or a story and have us all chuckling. He knew how to savor a moment and appreciate the sublime.
George was a master photographer. His pictures capture a sense of wonder and delight in life/living - just the right light and just the right moment: subtle and beautiful details which you miss if you don’t slow down and really treasure the world around you.
