There are not words that can describe the magnificence of Rhumell. Her courage, strength , resilience and compassion are a beacon of light to everyone who knew her. Her spirit is unbreakable and her will to live and love is unmatched. Her love is unconditional, unquestionable and immortal, it will remain in our hearts and will be with all of us for the rest of our lives. 2000 years ago Jesus lived and set an example for all of us to follow. Galvanized by this belief Rhumell embodies it; she is our savior. When morality is in question, we think of what she would do. Throughout the past 22 years she has battled with her body's illness, a seemingly relentless struggle. However, she was determined to live no matter what, and she is a champion, she is our hero. In the face of death she is fearless, brave and resolute. We will cherish our memories of her, and celebrate her life forever.

Rhumell was always a woman I admired. I will always remember seeing her beautiful smile two or three rows behind me during worship on Sundays. In talking about anything, she gave such wonderful words of wisdom, hope, and encouragement; she voiced her love and deep faith in the Lord. She showed such strength over all these years of struggling with cancer. We will miss her, but we can feel good in the fact that she does not have to be in pain anymore for she is in heaven. We were so sorry to hear of the passing of Ms.Ball. She was truly a wonderful lady who had a special way with children. She loved them and they loved her back. I remember Rhumell. I haven't seen her for many years; however, as a teenager, I perceived Rhumell a most understanding, genuine, and enlightened adult. What a great mother and friend. I'm so sorry she suffered.
I, now, remember her beautiful and great smile, and I'll celebrate her positive approach to life. I remember her telling me how she met Ray; he was a radio DJ. How cool!
