Larry, Kim & Beth,
I don't really know where to begin. As you know, Peggy was my adopted sister. She was and will remain to be my wonderful friend. I am sure the days ahead will be difficult for all of you, but Peggy would not want you to be sad. She is now singing "Jerusalem" and dancing in heaven. I can just see her singing for God.
I want all of you to know that I am available at any time for all of you. I am here to help in any way. I am here to listen and cry with you because we will all miss her smiling face and her pleasant disposition.

We were most privileged to have known Peggy for a very short while, but the impact she had upon our lives will remain for a very long time to come. Her faith, strength and will to live combined with the love she had for her family made her a true heroine in our eyes. Larry, Beth and family - you are in our prayers. We love you, Van, Sherrie and Garrett

Peggy was an inspiration to both Gay and I when we were members of Bald Mountain Baptist. She always smiled, and never had an unkind word about anyone. She was truly an example of a Christian woman.

Peggy and I graduated together in 1967 at Northwest Ashe. She was one of the kindest and best people I have ever known. I didn't get to see her much after graduation, but the times I saw her and talked to her she was the same wonderful person I knew in high school. May God comfort and be with all her family.

Larry,
I was so sorry to hear about Peggy. I did not hear about her passing away until after the funeral. Based on the short time I knew Peggy, I know she was a blessing to everyone that knew her. I will always remember and be grateful for the wonderful way she helped us and how you both welcomed Mom when she moved to Mountain Village.
May God's comfort and peace be yours.
