One fun memory which I will always remember is back around 1975 when we lived in the same neighborhood and a bunch of us felt mischievious one night and we decided to hook up all of our hoses together to make one long hose to reach up and down the neighborhood and sneakely spray any of our neighbors coming in or out of their homes.WE were adults at the time acting like a bunch of kids. We had a good time that evening laughing at the neighbors we hosed down. Rufus being the ring leader.

Linda and Family,
My deepest sympathy to you and your family. I grew up with Rufus on United Street and we had some memorable times. He was always a very mischievous young boy and always up for challange.I can still hear his mother calling him to come home and him ignoring her as if he never heard her. I have good memories of Rufus and may he now rest in peace. God Bless you all. Again my deepest sympathy.

Hello,
I first became acquainted with Rufus thru my father at the Day's Inn. Since then, if I needed appliance work done, I just called Rufus. He always did good work and was fair. I saw him and his wife occassionally at various eateries around town and enjoyed talking about trucks etc.

Rufus had a special quality that was unforgettable. Once you met him you knew you wanted to be his friend. That special smile like the cat that swallowed the canary. He was always happy and kidding around. We played together as kids many years go. even before we went to school. We'll miss You Rufus. If I get around that way sometime maybe we can play together again. RIP Charlie & Jean
