Mr. Thomas Edison Trivette, better known as Tom, age 46, of Creston passed away on Sunday afternoon, September 7, 2008 at Watauga Medical Center in Boone. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at 8:00 pm at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Williams, Rev. Mark Wagg and Rev. Julian Owens officiating. Graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2008 at 1:00 pm at the Trivette Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00pm on Wednesday, two hours prior to the funeral service. Mr. Trivette was born in Ashe County on Friday, March 23, 1962 to Ervil Edison Trivette and Mildred Jones Trivette. He was a driver for Chandler Concrete Company. He was a member of Three Fork Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Mahala Trivette of the home; a son, Cole Trivette, of the home; two daughters, Stephanie Hayes of Banner Elk and Rachel Laws of Burnsville, NC; a brother, David Trivette, of Whitetop, VA; his parents, Ervil & Mildred Trivette, of Creston; Grandmothers, Viola Trivette, of Creston and Ethel Jones, of Todd; Two grandchildren, Madison Laws, of Burnsville and Abigail Osborne, of Banner Elk; several nieces and nephews also survive.
