Mr. Ricky Carlton Osborne, age 59, of Millers Creek, died Friday morning, May 16, 2014 at his residence. Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 19, 2014 at 2pm at Boone Family Funeral Home with Rev. Charlie McCoy, Rev. Anthony Roark, and Rick Powers officiating. Burial will follow in the Price Roark Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-2pm on Monday at Boone Family Funeral Home. Mr. Osborne was born in Ashe County on April 16, 1955 to the late Chester Osborne and Esther Pearl McCoy Osborne. He is also preceded in death by two brothers; James Jimmy Dean Osborne and infant Michael Osborne. Mr. Osborne is survived by his wife Betty Ann Osborne of Millers Creek, two daughters; Tracy Osborne Carter of Orlando, Florida and Rikki Ann Osborne of Millers Creek, his mother; Esther McCoy Osborne of Creston, one sister; Pamela Osborne Roark and husband Rick of Creston, four grandchildren; Mackenzie Reid Gamble, Ricky Wayne Harris, Elijah Gene Harris, and Bella Pearl Dice.
